Festive Coffee Filter Wreath

Ever since Shannon from Fox Hollow Cottage
made her gorgeous Coffee Filter Wreath,
I have been promising myself I would make one.

I finally got around to it.

Like...

Almost year later.

LOL!

So cheap.

So simple.

So easy.

What was I waiting for?!

And better yet, I got the coffee filters and ornaments from Dollar Tree...

So that's like super, extra cheap!

BONUS!

I won't bore you with the details of how I created it.

It's not a new thing.

Tutorials abound throughout blogland.

I just did what they did.

With 200 coffee filters glued onto a straw wreath form.

I put my own spin on it with
Christmas ornaments and a satin aqua ribbon.

A little festive touch.

To hang over the buffet in our dining room.

And add a little bit of Christmas cheer.

Along with a silver thrift store serving tray,
holding vintage thrift store ornaments...

and my mismatched thrift store candlesticks,
that I gave a coat of Metallic Silver spray paint
to change them up from the gold of last year.

It was just the added touch our gallery wall needed
to be a little more Christmas-y.

On the cheap.

Perfect.

Dream Big,

  1. This is so lovely. Silver and aqua is my favorite color scheme, year round. You did it perfectly. Love the wreath. I too have been wanting to make one. Maybe I can join in the party next year.
