Book Page Ornaments

I know it's a little lot early for Christmas.

It's not even Thanksgiving yet!

But, in the retail market Christmas has already started
and will be full steam ahead in another week!

It just seems like yesterday that I was putting up my fall mantle
and this weekend I took it down and put up Christmas.

Wow.

(I'll keep you guessing on that though.
The big reveal might be next week.  WOO-HOO! )

At The Changing Season, Carrie has been busily working for the last two weeks getting her store ready for a little Fa La La La La - and I promised to contribute handmade Christmas ornaments.

Guess what I worked on for 3 days?

Yep.

Believe it or not...

Christmas Ornaments!

So this week, I'll be sharing with you
5 different kinds of ornaments.

Today I'm sharing two different styles of ornaments.

The first of today's ornaments:

An elegant book page ornament.

I paired a black satin ribbon with a black lace covered button.

The ornament topper is sprinkled with a dash of white glitter.

I love the classic look of the black and white.

Kind of reminds me of Grace Kelly.

LOL!

Now this next one is more of the style you'd expect from me.

Total prairie style (not to be confused at all with Gangnam Style).

HA!

I love this one, of course.

The crocheted lace topper is paired
with burlap and raffia.

LOVE!
And the glitter mod-podged here and there on the glass ball
gives it a little shimmer.

It's one of my favorites!

So, now a question...

I'm thinking about selling these online.

Kind of scary to put yourself out there and take that leap, ya know?

What do you think?

Should I?

Or should I not?

Would any of you be interested
in ordering homemade ornaments?

Let me know what you think.

Otherwise...

This week is ornament week!

A new ornament I've made each day.

I love Christmas, don't you?!

I hope you'll stop back
and take a look!

Dream Big,

  3. Wow...getting started on Christmas decorating already! I'd love to but we get a live tree and have to wait until at least mid December...somehow doing decorations before seems odd! I can't wait to see what you've done.

The ornaments are darling! I really like the second one, too, very pretty! And yes! I think they would sell. Maybe in a set of three? Go for it!
