Room Makeover Announcement

I must be a glutton for punishment.

Why I'm deciding to do a room makeover the week before Kids State Wrestling, I have no idea.

Scratch that.

Yeah, I do.

Because if I'm busy, I won't be thinking about it
and getting sick to my stomach.

Which is how I've spent the last 2 years before State.

So, Sunday afternoon while I was on my hands and knees
scrubbing the tile floor with a scrub brush,
which is the ONLY way to get tile clean...

And one of the GROSSEST things to have to do
in a bathroom frequented by 5 males (EW.),

I took a good hard look at where the paint had flaked away
from the trim and decided that I might as well
do something about it.

(Note:  MDF Trim does not hold up in places
where there is a lot of water and moisture.)

Yesterday morning, I did this:

Yep.

Took down the light fixtures and the vanity...

And the shelf above the toilet...

And I have no plan.

No clue about color.

Or what in the world I'm going to do
about the bead board paneling that runs up above the sink
and acts as a backsplash.

Y'all should have seen Scott's face when he came downstairs.

BAH HA HA HA HA HA!

I opened my mouth to say something and he held up his hand...

"I don't want to know.  Don't tell me."

Oooooookay then.

Works for me!

Let's see how cheaply I can do this one...

Because I've got a budget of ZERO.

;)
