Trying to make four boys happy in one room is a feat!
Everyone has their own ideas and own interests...
As it should be.
However, that doesn't make it easy on a Momma who's trying to make EVERYONE happy.
Luckily, the boys managed to agree on a color scheme and theme,
without too many ruffled feathers.
So, for the last week I've been...
Buying...
Making...
Thinking...
and Painting.
I'm making pretty good progress so far with everything I need for the room made.
All the furniture is now painted, with the exception of that stinkin' bunk bed.
ARGH!
I used two cans of spray paint and ran out with everything not quite half way painted.
Went to Wally World last night and they only had two cans of the stuff I'm using.
DOUBLE ARGH!
Came home, held my breath, and started spray painting.
Ran out.
AH-GAIN.
#FACEPALM.
So, I need to hunt down ONE. MORE. CAN. to have that complete.
Today I'm primering the heck out of the walls and trim
and with the beautiful drying weather we're having,
maybe I'll even get the first coat of paint on.
But, it occurred to me that y'all have never really seen the room that the boys are in now.
Our old room before I moved us into their room and made it over.
You can see that makeover HERE.
So, here's what the room looked like when we first moved in:
And here's what it looked like when it was our room eons ago...
And here's what it looks like in them midst of controlled chaos...
Fun times.
The poor kids have been kicked out of their room and last night they were:
1) On the couch.
2) In bed with Eva.
3) and 4) On the floor in our bedroom on a pile of blankets.
LOL!
Just keeping it real.
Sooooooooo....
Look for "the reveal" on Monday!
I'm going to work really hard to knock the walls and trim out today and tomorrow.
And then all the bedrooms will finally be done!
YIPPPPEEEE!

its gonna be awesome! I just know it!

Wow, four boys in one room?! That would be difficult! I'm looking forward to seeing the reveal! By the way, speaking of reveals... did you ever finish that funny little space with the door in the floor? I was really looking forward to seeing how you chose to utilize that space.
