It's fall y'all!
And my favorite time of year!
I love it.
(Even if I do know that the frigid winds of winter are right around the corner.)
So this year, I decided to decorate with the vibrant colors of the season.
It's definitely a change from the neutral colors I usually use.
I think I like it!
It was hard getting pictures in the room without including the tablescape.
But I'm saving that reveal for Monday.
Such a tease.
I love the orange and yellows with pops of red and aqua.
I spent $16.00 on the orange chevron and aqua fabric.
$6.00 on the mini pumpkins.
I found the mirror at the thrift for $10.00.
And the mums for $4.00.
The gourds in the wire basket in the background came from my in-law's.
My father-in-law dried last year's gourds and gave me some to paint.
(Even if he did think it was weird that I was going to paint them. LOL!)
Everything else I had on hand.
The colored burlap for the leaves, is simply brown burlap painted with acrylic paint.
I used a bronze sharpie to draw on stems to add texture.
The acorns I painted, as well.
I even painted the cattails I picked down the road.
It's a bright fall look for our dining room.
I hope you'll pop back by on Monday to check out this year's tablescape.
It's so much fun to bring fall into our home!
